I LOVE mixing drinks with Rum. It is such a versatile alcohol and comes in fun flavors, dark and light. There is no end to your creativity when mixing a drink with Rum…let your own personal flavor palate take you away on a tropical self-driven journey for the perfect blend. My sister and I always make yummy cocktails with Rum…we usually don’t follow the same recipe each time…but we have labeled them with a “master name” “Rum Yummies. They always turn out great and certainly liven up the party!! This version can be enjoyed with or without Alcohol. They are equally delicious as a “virgin” cocktail. Enjoy!!
Rum Yummy #1
- 1 Cup Pineapple Juice
- 2-3 Tablespoons Bacardi Frozen Pina Colada Mix
- Juice of ½ lime
- ¼ teaspoon fresh grated ginger
- 2 Cups Crushed Ice
- 2 Shots Light Rum
- 2 Shots Coconut Flavored Rum
TQ TIP –
CHILL your glasses in the freezer. I used Martini Glasses…but any festive stem glass will work.
Add All ingredients in your blender (except for garnish)
Blend until frothy and smooth
Chill Blender in freezer if you like to get them really frosty fruzhenglazeny…But give it a spin on the blender right before serving.
Grate Fresh Nutmeg on top and Garnish with a Lime Wedge.
For Virgin Version –
Simply add a little more Pineapple Juice and Ice and don’t add the alcohol.
