Vodka Pom Fizz

I love the taste, color, flavor and antioxidant benefits we enjoy from Pomegranite Juice. This crisp summery cocktail is a quick fix. Add a few special garnishes and you have created a party in a glass. One look at the color invites you to take a long slow sip…Vodka Pom Fizz
In a tall Chimney Glass….

  • Crushed Ice fill ¼ of the way up
  • 1 ½ ounces of your favorite vodka
  • Fill halfway with Pomegranite Soda (I use the Safeway Organic Brand…but any Pom Soda you like…Splash of Pomegranite Juice (I used Pom Cherry) ..use your favorite!! No hard rules ever with drinkies)
  • Fill to the top with Seltzer or Club Soda

To make it Virgin –
simply eliminate the vodka. Crisp and refreshing.

To Make it Special -
Freeze some fresh blueberries, strawberries or raspberries. Drop a few in the glass and also garnish with a sprig of mint and sprig of fresh rosemary. The rosemary brings an earthy herbal finish to the drink. The frozen berries serve several purposes – they look pretty, they keep the drink icy cold longer and they are a delicious treat to nibble after you take that last fruity sip. Your guests will love that you took the time to make something special…and it really could not be an easier drink. Great for drop in guests..AAHHH…

This drink creation is in my favorites list. It is not too sweet and is easy and festive.

That looks so cool and refreshing. Adding fresh herbs for garnishes really completes the “art” of the cocktail.

What a clever site this is, Cristie! Your mom is promoting you and that is a good thing. All of your drinks sound and look wonderful. I like that you have simple to more complicated (more ingredients). I didn’t choose this drink because it might be my favorite. It is simply a means to let you know what I’m thinking. The most outstanding feature of your site is maybe one you might not think of as outstanding. I like how you give non-alcoholic versions when possible. How thoughtful! I have become very aware of this since John is no longer drinking alcohol. You go, girl!!! Julie
